Shawn James Pozniak, 37, of Cleveland, unexpectedly passed away on March 19, 2019. He was born in Parma, the son of Joseph James Belmont (deceased) and Constance Elaine Pozniak Brooks. Shawn is the beloved father of Joseph, Warren and Amber Pozniak; loving brother of April (James) Pozniak-Beall, Michael James Pozniak, Matthew James Pozniak, Celeste Brooks (Jeffrey Eubanks), Hugh “Doccy” Brooks and Eric Hoffman (Gabriella Roldan); cherished nephew, cousin, uncle and friend of many. Shawn was currently an Outreach Coordinator working with several organizations in the Cleveland area. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at 6PM at the Sunset Chapel in Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Onix Outreach, 18519 Detroit Avenue, Lakewood Ohio 44107.
