Barbara’s Obituary MILLER, Barbara J. – of Genesee Twp., age 86, went home to be with her Lord, surrounded by her daughters on March 30, 2019 at Ascension Genesys Hospital. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison ; Pastor Jan Duce officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-8 PM Tuesday and 10 AM until time of service on Wednesday. Barbara was born in Flint, MI on September 15, 1932, daughter of the late Lawrence and Helen (Lockard) Lake. She married Bernard Miller on February 16, 1951 and he preceded her in death in 1991. Barbara enjoyed sewing, cooking, needlework and crocheting. She was an avid learner and loved staying connected with her family. Barbara volunteered in many organizations and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Barbara is survived by her daughters, Cindy (Bob) Jarema, Ann (Duane) Whitman, Theresa (Tim) Pittenger and Christina Bontrager; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
