Wilburn E. “Bill” Trammell, Jr., 73, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Karen A. (Fisher) Trammell. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, he was the son of the late Wilburn and Grace (Morris) Trammell. In addition to his wife he is survived by his two children, Colby Trammell and Nicole (Trammell) Pannone and her husband Kevin; a brother, Jeff Trammell; a sister; Brenda Trammell; and three grandchildren, Alexis, Aiden and Anthony Pannone. He was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War stationed on the U.S.S. Es. Bill worked for RIPTA for 25 years retiring as Chief Supervisor. He enjoyed his retirement, fishing and working part time at Lowe’s in Cranston until fully retiring in 2018. His funeral will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 8:45 a.m. from the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Paul Church, One Saint Paul Place, Cranston. Military Honors will follow. Burial will be private. Visitation Monday 4 – 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill’s memory may be made to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101.
