She was born October 30, 1958 in Vinton County, Ohio, daughter of the late Oscar and Patricia Holtz Skeens. She is survived by her daughters, Tammy Wolfe of McArthur, Christy Barnhill of Columbus and Kelly Wolfe of Hamden; grandchildren, Mark Wolfe, John “L.J.” Warrix, Jay Barnhill, Peyton Barnhill and Robert “Rob” Johnson III; brothers, Jim Skeens of Albany, Mike (Cathy) Skeens of Vinton County, Rick Skeens of McArthur, Raymond Skeens of Hamden, Gary (Rhoda) Skeens of Maine and Steve (Cheryl) Skeens of Jackson; sister, Linda (Ed) Griffy of Sabina and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her brother, Robert “Bob” Skeens and her beloved friend and companion, Eddie Coffey. A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday April 12, 2019 at the Garrett Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur. Rev. Jerry Griffith Jr. officiating.
