Vern Raymond Cyr January 26, 1924 – March 10, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Memorial Donation Vern Raymond Cyr, 95 years of age and a former Hoquiam resident, died on Sunday, March 10, 2019, at his residency in Lacey, Washington where he had lived for the past 12 years. He was born on January 26, 1924, in Hoquiam to Louis Joseph and Susan Marie (Lizotte) Cyr. He was raised and attended school in Hoquiam and Buckley and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Vern is survived by his nieces and nephews that include, Sharon Chestnut, Sandra Mayton, Sheila Edmunson, Cari Jo Godfrey, Candy Bonnell, Robbie Cyr and other relatives. His extended family includes the Vinluan family that had given him many years of loving care. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Wanda Lundquist and a brother Joseph Cyr. Private vault inurnment will be held at a later date in the Sunset Memorial Park in Hoquiam. Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary, 422 – 5th Street in Hoquiam.
