Trula M. Gregg, age 90 of Newport, passed away Friday, March 22, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rome & Oma Hance; siblings, Leon & Wayne Hance, Beulah Maloy, Blanche Dugger, & Jean Taylor; granddaughter, Brooke Stokely; and great-granddaughter, Whitley McMahan. She is survived by her children, Larry E. Hartsell (Blanche), Teala Jenkins (Larry Joe), Gary Hartsell (Sharon), Sheila Langston, Vickie Josey (Gene), Kevin Gregg (Tami Cheeseman), & Brian Gregg (Leah); brother, Johnny Hance, and sister, Shirley Allen. Other survivors include three generations of grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Tennova Newport Convalescent Center. The family will receive friends from 5PM to 7PM Monday, March 25, 2019 at Brown Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow. Burial will be at 11AM Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Union Cemetery.
