Terry Jean Pinkston July 16 1955 March 4 2019

Mrs. Terry Jean Pinkston [nee Steimann] July 16, 1955 to March 4, 2019 Terry was born in St. Louis to John (aka Jack) and Loretta Steimann [nee Woelich]. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and cherished her family more than anything. She was loved by many for her generosity, and her kind and fun-loving nature. She loved to spend time with her friends and family, and adored her grandchildren whole-heartedly. Not only was she a gentle spirit, she was also extremely smart and hard working. Her business that she solely owned and operated, Engraved Memories, was proof of her strong work ethic, independence, and tough-minded spirit. When she wasn’t working at the shop during the day, she was making jewelry for her second business, an on-line personalized jewelry store. It was not uncommon for Terry (and Tim) to work nights and weekends, to keep up with the orders. Although Terry was the owner and operator of both businesses, Tim, her dutiful and loving husband, was by her side helping her along the way. Terry endured an extremely difficult and long battle with cancer and related illnesses, starting in 2005 with lung cancer, which metastasized to the brain in 2008. Ironically, her treasured engraving business, was a major contributor to the lung disease. Survivors include: her husband of 22 years, Tim Pinkston; one daughter, Amy Crews; one son, Knute [Stephanie] Schneider, Jr.; two grandchildren, Isabel Crews and Jackson Schneider; her Mother, Loretta Steimann; one sister, Janie Lewis; and two brothers, John [Julie] Steimann and Joe [Michelle] Steimann. She was preceded in death by her beloved Father, Jack; and her brother-in-law, Vernon Lewis. Memorial Services are as follows: Memorial service: St. Cletus Catholic Church in St. Charles 2705 Zumbehl Road Sunday, March 17th 1:00 pm 1:30 pm Memorial Reception: Pezold Banquet Center in Cottleville 5701 Hwy N 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm In addition, a special memorial dart tournament and cancer fundraiser will be held in her name on Saturday, April 6, starting at 5 pm, at the St. Charles Moose Lodge.
