Sarayette Sue Niehaus 1946 2019

Obituary of Sarayette Niehaus Bedford – Sarayette “Sue” (Johnston) Niehaus, 72, of Bedford, died Sunday, March 17, 2019. Born November 19, 1946, in Greensburg, she was the daughter of Robert W. and Charlotte L. (Tinker) Johnston. She had worked at Proctor & Gamble and then as an office administrator at Hancock Construction, Bliss Place and Stonebridge Health Campus. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 494. She loved to knit, quilt, garden, and work in her yard. She had served at the State Officer in the Rainbow Girls. Survivors include a daughter, Stacey Randolph of Bedford; grandchildren, Zachary, Zoe, and Zane Randolph, all of Bedford; a brother, Roger W. Johnston and wife, Ruth, of Hampton, VA; several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Monday, March 25th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Kevin Andry officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Southpark Cemetery in Greensburg. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, March 24th at the Day & Carter Mortuary where an Eastern Star service will be conducted at 5:00 pm.
