Samuel “Cee”‘s Obituary Samuel “Cee” Etta Speer Carter, 91 of Double Springs passed away on March 5, 2019 in Jasper. She was born on May 14, 1927 in Winston County. Cee attended Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. She attended Winston County High School. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019 from 1:00pm – 2:00pm at Houston Baptist Church where services will be held at 2:00pm. Brother Jeffery Wiggins and Brother Benny Knight will officiate. Burial will be in the Houston Methodist Church Cemetery. She is survived by her sisters, Tom Era Rowe and Lena Belle Henderson and her husband Parnell; and a host of nieces and nephews. Cee was preceded in death by her parents, James Samuel Speer and Dora Burdick Speer; brothers, Jim Speer, Burdick Speer and Jack Speer; and sister, Georgia Belle Speer. Read More
