Ruby H. Setliff, 88, of Gardendale passed away March 23, 2019. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Remlap, retired from Bruno’s as a cashier and a graduate of Corner High School. She will be remembered for her great cooking. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lecil Setliff; sons, Rex and Richard Trammell; her parents, William Albert and Flora Harding and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Paul) Spain; son, Randall (Vicki) Trammell; stepson, Lloyd (Polly) Setliff; sister, Betty Dodd; daughter in law, Lisa Wolfe; grandchildren, Tracy Graham, Wesley Graham, Miranda (Roger) Shiflett, Taylor (Hannah) Trammell, Linley(Victor) Hanson, Rex (Behre)Trammell, Ryan (Brandy) Trammell, Luke Trammell, Christian (Stephanie) Spain; 15 great grandchildren. The family wishes extend a special thank you to her special caregiver, Dena McCay. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 26, 2019 between 1 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. at The New Gardendale Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
