Ronald E. Blue, 81, Johnstown, died March 23,2019 at Laurelwood Care Center. Born July 2, 1937 in Johnstown, son of David E. and Ethel Mae (Naugle) Blue. Preceded in death by parents, son, Damon; daughter, Lauren E. and brothers, Glenn, Eugene, Dean. Survived by wife of 61 years, Nancy Jean (Bowden) Blue; daughter, Meghan C. married to John Beeby; grandson, Travis B. Blue; brother, Tom and wife Patricia (Stuver); sister-in-law, Rebecca J. Bowden and special friend Ed Hritz. Ron was a long time employee of Bethlehem Steel and he retired from Republic Steel. At his request there will be no viewing or service. Private burial at the convenience of the family. John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. is serving the family.
