Robert “Bobby” L. Grant, age 59, passed away on March 19, 2019, at Centennial Medical Center in Ashland City, Tennessee. Bobby was born in Orlando, Florida, on June 2, 1959, to the late Hulan Grant and Mary Lou Hale Batson. Bobby was a member of First Baptist Church of Joelton and worked in construction. He was a loving brother, father, grandfather and friend. He is preceded in death by his parents. Bobby is survived by his children: Julie (Jeremy) Davenport and Shaun (Kayla) Grant; five grandchildren, Lauren, Dylan and Allyson Davenport, Jackson and Jamison Grant; sister, Denise “Dee” (Eddie) Jones; brothers, Buddy Grant and Dennis (Linda) McGlothren. Funeral service will be Friday, March 22nd at 7pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Reverend Jackie Batson officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, March 21st, from 4pm to 7pm and on Friday, March 22nd, from 2pm to 6:30pm with service to follow at 7pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Shaun Grant, Buddy Grant, Jeremy Davenport, Dennis McGlothren, Chris Jones, and Clark Clements.
