Peggy Moore March 10 1955 March 22 2019

Peggy Moore, age 64, of Chilhowie, VA, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019 at Ballad Hospice in Bristol, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Ray Moore, Sr. and Irene Moore; and brother, Joseph Moore. Peggy was employed as a transporter with Ridgefield retirement home where she would transport patients to and from doctor’s appointments. She was always willing to help anyone in need. She collected stamps, loved movies, and always enjoyed playing with her grandchildren. Peggy also took wonderful care of her nieces. She is survived by her sons, Scott Moore and wife Amy, and Duston Moore; grandchildren, Aiden Moore and Harlee Moore; sisters, Gail Jackson, Frances Wagner, Cynthia “Cindy” Barnett, and Lisa Cox and husband Wayne; brother, Elmer Ray “Butch” Moore, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service for Ms. Moore will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Friend’s Community Church in Saltville, VA with Mike Maiden officiating. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Ballad Hospice of Bristol, TN for their wonderful care and hospitality of Ms. Moore.
