Paul Hudson of Salem, Missouri passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019 in Fenton, Missouri at the age of 80. Paul was born in South Bend, Indiana on September 22, 1938 to the late Claude and Nellie (Thompson) Hudson. Paul was united in marriage to Jean Myers in 1964. This union was blessed with five children, sadly Jean passed in 2002. Paul and Jean loved to dance, and especially loved to swing dance. He was a member of the Salem Full Gospel Church, he enjoyed working outside, and lifting weights. Paul really was a people person, he never met a stranger, and could pull off a good joke or two when he needed too. He also enjoyed singing at church, and was a huge Duke basketball fan. He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, who will be greatly missed. Paul is survived by his children, Nicole Miller, and husband Chad, Peoria, AZ, Shawn Hudson, and wife Shelia, of Peoria, AZ, Charlee Banzul, of Portland, OR, and Dane Hudson, and wife Ruth, of Fenton, MO; 17 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents Claude and Nellie Hudson, and wife Jean, Paul was preceded in death by his daughter, Angela O’Dell, and great-granddaughter, Abigail Waters. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Salem Full Gospel Church with Pastor Bill Stack officiating. Internment will be at the Boss Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the Salem Chapel of the James & Gahr Mortuary from 5-6PM.
