Born in Spring City, Norma was the daughter of the late Boyd and Vesta Hawkins Henley. She was a homemaker and a member of the Spring City United Methodist Church. During her later years, at the Spring City Care Center, Norma loved to play bingo. Norma was also preceded in death by her husband Sidney D. Spurlin and her sisters Ruth Hornsby and Vena Mae Acres. Survivors include her children Carlton (Bonnia) Spurlin of Harriman and Rita (Robert) Janow of Spring City, four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. The services for Norma will be private. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in the Spring City Cemetery. Vaughn Funeral Home, Spring City is in charge of arrangements.
