Norma was born in Bucklin, Missouri on May 30, 1930 to Alva A. and Hazel O. (Johnson) Sartain. She married Gene Riddle on July 28, 1946 and he died in 1959, she later married Millard Roland on August 8, 1963 and he preceded her in death in 1986. She married Dodd Howard Bowman on March 20, 1987 and he survives her. Norma had worked as a cosmetologist and was a member of the Marceline First Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Howard Bowman, Marceline, two sisters, Betty Pope, Marceline and Sharon Folkers, Grain Valley, many nieces, nephew, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by six brothers, Alva Jr., Harry, William, Roy Gene, George and Charles Sartain, and three sisters, Helen Mallett, Kaye Mawby and Grace Wise. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Marceline First Baptist Church with burial in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Marceline. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until service time Saturday at the church. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church (Building Fund or Flood Youth Group) or Hospice Compassus and mailed to Delaney Funeral Home 1720 N. Missouri Ave., Marceline, MO 64658.
