Nancy’s Obituary Nancy Leigh Hubsky, 62, Minot, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at a Minot hospital. Nancy was born on March 20, 1956 in Minot, North Dakota to Arnold and Clarice (Moe) Hubsky. She was raised in Minot and graduated from Velva High School in 1974. Nancy then went to and graduated from Minot State University. After graduation, she moved to El Paso, Texas to teach for seven years before moving back to Minot to be closer to her family. She retired early in 2018. Nancy loved to play games on the computer, visit casinos with her sisters, and read. The love of her life, though, was her grandchildren, Kameron and Alaina. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Nancy is survived by her daughter, Kristin Hubsky; grandchildren Kameron Hubsky and Alaina Hubsky-Leucuta; sisters: JoAnn Robbins, Cynthia Benjamin, Valerie Hubsky, Rosalie Hubsky, and Lynn Thornton; brothers Christopher and Jonathan Hubsky; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-laws Melvin Benjamin and Ike Thornton. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home in Minot. Visitation will be one hour prior to the start of the service.
