Nan Rae Healey Marcon, 87, of American Fork was reunited with her husband Guido “Mike” Marcon on Friday, March 15, 2019. Nan Rae was born May 29, 1931 in Alpine, Utah to Elroy Devey and Naomi Thornton Healey. She married Mike Marcon on November 10, 1950 in Alpine. Nan Rae grew up in Alpine and attended schools in Alpine and American Fork. She and Mike moved to American Fork where they raised their four children. Nan Rae worked several years in the kitchen at the old American Fork Hospital. Nan Rae was a fabulous seamstress, known for her Raggedy Ann and Andy Dolls, and always enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable gardens. Her apple trees and lilacs bushes were legendary. Nan Rae made quilts for all of her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the American Fork 23rd Ward until 2017 when she left her home to reside at the Charleston in Cedar Hills. Nan Rae is survived by her four children: Michael Guido (Bonnie) Marcon, Lindon; Trudy Ann Mecham, American Fork; Maria (Eugene) Fowles, Lindon and Teresa Catherine (Scott) Miller, American Fork; 17 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren and foster brother, Victor (JoAnne) Palmer, Alpine. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Eugene and Howard and foster brother, Daniel “Sunny” Palmer. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 11:00 am in the American Fork 23rd Ward Chapel, 680 North 350 West, American Fork where family and friends may attend a viewing from 9:00-10:45 am prior to the services.
