Melinda Sue Staggs Jackson, age 54, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, March 18, 2019. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a homemaker, a former member of Deerfield Church of Christ and attended The Barn. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Cletus and Lairean Brewer Staggs; one daughter, Ashley Nicole Jackson; one grandson, Braxton Jackson; two brothers, William Leo Staggs and Rayburn Allen Staggs; and two sisters, Brenda Sue Staggs and Hazel Eloise Staggs Gower. She is survived by her husband, Keith Jackson of Lawrenceburg, TN; one son, David Jackson (Jamie); four brothers, Roger Staggs (Jean), Paul Rickey Staggs, Carol Rex Staggs and Cleatus Ray Staggs all of Lawrenceburg, TN; three sisters, Sandra Kay Kilburn (Rex) and Deborah Genell Garland (Ray) both of Lawrenceburg, TN and Judy Ann Sittman of Reading, PA; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and closest lifelong friends, Lisa Renea Rader, Heather R. Sizemore, Alex J. Brock, Parker J. Woods, Karen and Bubba Self. Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Saturday, March 23, 2019, with Greg Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Deerfield Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN.
