Obituary of Mary H. Lawrence Albion: Mary H. Lawrence, age 83, passed away March 28, 2019 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. She was born June 21, 1935 to the late Paul and Mary (Gallagher) Edwards. Mary enjoyed gardening with her late husband LaVerne and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting, collecting wind chimes, playing solitaire on the computer and watching EWTN on her television. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband LaVerne in 2011 and several siblings. Mary is survived by her children, Ann (Steve) Chew, Judith Edwards, Michael (Jay Hueber) Lawrence, Robert Lawrence, Mary (Scott) Patten, Paul (Lucinda) Lawrence, David (Denise) Lawrence, Joseph (Jackie) Lawrence, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, siblings, Gerald (Mora) Edwards, Carol (George) Rich, Carl (late Linda) Edwards, Pauline (Bob) Forrester, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave. Albion, NY 14411 on Monday, April 1st from 2:00-4:00pm & 6:00-8:00pm. Mary’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph’s Church, West Park St. Albion, on Tuesday, April 2nd at 11:00am. Interment will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Mary’s name may be made to the church 106 S. Main St. Albion, NY 14411.
