South Pasadena- Marjorie Marallo,85, died on March 3, 2019 at her daughter’s residence in Crystal River. She was the beloved wife to the late Frank Marallo who died on December 29, 2018. Marjorie was born on August 28, 1933 in St. Petersburg, FL and was the daughter to the late Guy and Ruth (Donovon) Van Dorn. Marjorie attended the University of Florida and it was while she was in school she met her husband Frank. Shortly thereafter studies they moved to New York. While in New York she became the first female school bus driver and she also did some modeling in the fashion industry. In 1975 she moved back to St. Petersburg from Somers, NY. While in St. Petersburg she was on the South Pasadena Beautification Committee, Italian American Club, Moose lodge and the sons of Italy. She was catholic by faith and she enjoyed traveling and animals. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. Besides her husband Frank Marrallo, Marjorie is preceded in death by her brother. Those left to cherish her memories are her sons, Bill Marallo, (Zuleika), Cape Canaveral and Frank Marallo, Dunnellon; her daughters, Sharen Hyde, Marlene Marallo(Patrick Wadden), Saugerties, NY and her three grandchildren.
