Maria’s Obituary Maria Nelda Piatt, 76, of Boyce, Virginia, died Monday, February 11, 2019 in the Winchester Medical Center. Mrs. Piatt was born September 10, 1942 in the Philippines, daughter of the late Pedro Sendes and Dominga Manlapaz. She was a homemaker. She married Gary Lee Piatt on October 30, 1964 in the Philippines. Surviving with her husband are her half-sisters, Maria Nilda Muner and her husband, Roulando of California, Evelynn Almacen and her husband, Leopoldo, of Maryland, Chona Baxter and her husband, Danny, of Texas and Olies Erman and her husband, David, of Los Angeles; and half-brothers, Bob Sendes of Los Angeles and Peter Sendes of Florida. A funeral service will be held 11:00 A. M. Friday, March 15, 2019 at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Berryville, VA with Pastor Ed Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery, Berryville. Pallbearers will be Ron Paul, Mike Wheeler, Earl Curry, Bob Jones, Gary Adams and Mike Keller. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 A. M. prior to the service at the funeral home.
