Lola June Lovin, born June 18,1932 in Kentucky to Dora and John Allen, peacefully passed from this world to the next to be joined with Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior on March 2, 2019 in Illinois. Lola was raised in London, Kentucky, met and married Ona Franklin Ervin Jr ( Sweet Pea), and they raised eight children together. Lola was involved in her children’s activities including school functions and field trips, camping trips and boy scout and girl scout outings. She worked at Remington Arms Factory and at Ponderosa Steak House in Illinois. Once their children were raised, Lola and Ona moved from Park Forest Illinois to St Cloud Florida. Lola later met and married her second husband, John Lovin and she remained in St Cloud working at Ponderosa Steak House and then, after achieving her Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate, at Beverly Nursing Facility. Lola retired, and afterwards enjoyed attending Osceola seniors day programs. In 2013 she returned to Illinois and lived out the rest of her days. Lola is preceded in death by her parents, Dora and John Allen, all of her siblings and her husbands, Ona Franklin Ervin, Jr and John E. Lovin, her children Carolyn ( Aisha), MacMillan ( Marty) ,Catherine Ervin, Cherry Axline ( Greg), Dennis Ervin ( Cathy), Daniel Ervin ( Kate), and grandson, Bobby Washburn Lola is survived by her children, Connie Washburn ( Jesse Wright), Candice Solecki (Ken), Christine Oller ( Bob), her stepdaughters Debra Lovin and Barbara Barter, and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements: Fisk Funeral Home , St Cloud Florida March 8,2019 visitation from 1-3pm, Christian Service at 3pm and burial at Mt Peace Cemetery St Cloud Florida.
