Linda Buffaloe Jackson of Cumming, Georgia passed away unexpectedly with family at her side on Saturday, March 23, 2019. She was an avid reader and had a legendary green thumb. Originally from Carthage, North Carolina, Linda moved to Atlanta, GA with her parents in 1952. A one-time business owner of the Bookworm in Gorham, Maine, Linda’s proudest accomplishment was being a Media Specialist at Lambert High School in Cumming, Georgia. Linda was preceded in death by her parents William D. Buffaloe and Frances Stewart Buffaloe. Linda is survived by her children Kelly E. and William F. Jackson and her two best friends Donna Kelly and Joanne Leonard. A visitation was held Tuesday, March 26, 2019 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and a funeral service Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the McDonald and Son Chapel in Cumming, GA. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday (March 30, 2019) where Linda will be laid to rest beside her parents at Cross Hill Cemetery in Carthage, NC. In addition to flowers the family asks that donations be made to American Heart Association.
