Letha’s Obituary Letha J. Roby, 65, of Sweet Springs, MO, died Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall, MO. Memorial services will be held by the family at a later date with inurnment in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO. Memorials are suggested to family choice in care of George D. Roby Sr., 507 Bridge St., Sweet Springs, MO 65351. An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com Born August 4, 1953, in Chillicothe, MO, she was the daughter of the late Virgil Leonard French and Helen Irene Hines French. Letha lived in Sweet Springs most of her adult life. On October 31, 2008, she married George D. Roby Sr., who survives of the home. She worked in her home as a seamstress the last 10 years. In addition to her husband, George, she is survived by a daughter, Angela Chapman (Matt) of Warrensburg, MO; two sons: George D. Roby Jr. of Marshall, and Robert W. Roby of Sedalia, MO; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Grace Mace of Joplin, MO; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Ann Finch; one brother, Bobbie Leonard French; and one sister, Michael Ann French. Read More
