Leon Mickel Lesley, 71, of Crawfordville, Florida went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 22, 2019, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born in Lake City, Florida on June 4, 1947, to the late John Mitchell Lesley and Catherine Simpkins Lesley. In addition to his parents, Leon is preceded in death by his brother Richard Lesley. Leon proudly served in the 101st Airborn Division of the United States Army during Vietnam between March/1968 to September/1969. Leon is survived by his wife of 49 years Mary Jane Bowers Lesley of Crawfordville, Florida, son John (Dana) Lesley of Simpsonville, South Carolina, daughter Tammy Lesley of Crawfordville, Florida, 2 granddaughters Kayla (Ryan) Davidson & Mackenzie Lesley of Simpsonville, South Carolina, 4 brothers Jody Lesley, Danny (Sandy) Lesley, Calvin Lesley & Calbert (Sandy) Lesley, 2 sisters Phyllis (Jerry) Spears & Linda (Sidney) Austin, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
