Lawrence “Larry” M. Jacobs Sr., 79, of LaPorte, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly at 3:24 p.m., Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at LaPorte Hospital in LaPorte. On October 13, 1939, in Three Rivers, Michigan he was born to Myrl and Doris Jacobs. Larry retired from NIPSCO as a Lineman. He was member of the American Legion Post #83 of LaPorte, he was a fan of the Chicago Bears, Cubs, and White Sox. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and traveling.
