Joshua John Demster passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2019. He was born on March 24, 1984 in Gretna, LA to Jack and Julie (Templet) Demster. Joshua is survived by his son Liam Michael Demster; his mother Julie Templet Demster; his brother Jack Joseph Demster, III (Melissa). He is also survived by his niece Emma; his Aunts Bonnie, Annie (L.J.), Sue, Marion (Rodney); his Uncle Tony; his paternal grandmother Genevieve Demster; and numerous cousins and extended family. Joshua is preceded in death by his father Jack Joseph Demster, Jr., his paternal grandfather Jack Joseph Demster, Sr., and his maternal grandparents Anthony Templet and JoAnn Lindsey. Joshua was a long time resident of St. Tammany Parish and graduated from Mandeville High School. He enjoyed fishing and scuba diving. Joshua loved life and lived every moment to the fullest. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Funeral Home on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 2:00 PM with visitation on Saturday beginning at 12:00 Noon. Interment will take place on Friday, April 5, 2019 at 1:00 PM in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Covington. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Joshua to be made to, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, www.stjude.org/.
