Joe was born in St Louis, Missouri on July 24, 1941, one of eight children born to Henry and Ellen [nee White] Woodson. After high school he became a mechanic at Wagner Electric and later married Annie [nee Gockel] Woodson. Surviving are his wife: Annie; one son: Joe, Jr. and his wife Sherri; one daughter: Judy Mack; and three sisters: Ella Woodson, Christine Braselman, and Anna Conley. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters: Dorothy, Shirley, Mary; and a brother: Richard. He loved fishing, but his passion was restoring and refurbishing older model cars. Visitation will be held on Friday March15 from 10-11 am at Valhalla Chapel of Memories, followed by Funeral Ceremony at 11 am. Interment is private for family only. Memorial contributions may be made to the Joseph Woodson Memorial Fund, and left at the Funeral Home.
