John C. Marotta, 76 years of age, of Beverly, formerly of East Boston, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019. Cherished son of the late Louis and Anna (Costa) Marotta. Loving father of John, Kenneth and Mark Marotta. Adored grandfather of John Marotta Jr. and his wife Kristine and Nicholas, Alexa and Ava Marotta. Caring brother of Salvatore Marotta and his wife Mary and the late Louis and Domenic Marotta. John is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. John is a Vietnam Army Veteran and a retired Winthrop Police Officer. Family and friends will honor John’s life by gathering in Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, 262 Beach St. REVERE on Thursday, March 7th from 9:30AM to 11:30AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony Church in Revere at 12:00PM.
