Mr. Jimmy Edward Epperson, Jr., age 55, of Shelbyville, a native of Bristol, Virginia, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019, at his home, under the loving care and comfort of his family. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1 PM Saturday, March 9, 2019, at Charity Pentecostal Tabernacle in Bristol, Virginia. He was born April 24, 1963, in Bristol, Virginia, to Jimmy Edward Epperson, Sr. and the late Frances Marie Hamlin Epperson. He was a truck driver and member of Charity Pentecostal Tabernacle. Survivors include his wife, Robin Pearl Draleau Epperson, of Shelbyville; children, Christina Smotherman and Michael Abare; brothers and sister, Penny, Luawana, Jeffery, Rebecca, Daniel, and longtime best friend, Will Wyatt; three grandsons, two granddaughters, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.
