Frye, age 75, passed away Friday, March 8, 2019 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, FL. Ms. Frye was a native and lifelong resident of Monroe County, AL and attended the Rocky Hill Baptist Church and the Uriah Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Willard R. and Sybil Rowell; and a son, Richard Edwin Frye. Survivors include: a son, Steven Randall Frye and wife, Tracey of Austin, TX; two daughters, Michelle Durden and husband, Dave, Jr. of Monroeville, AL and Renae Frye of Monroeville, AL; her brother, Bennie Rowell of Tamarac, FL; 5 grandchildren, Michael Frye, Chasity Frye, Dallas Frye, Kayla Frye and Brittany Williams; and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Buddy Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Monroe Chapel Cemetery in Frisco City, AL.
