Lenoir, NC – Jasper Dwayne Greene, age 62, passed away of natural causes in his home on March 13, 2019. He was born on March 23, 1956, in Pinehurst, North Carolina, to Dennis and Ella Greene. After graduating from Gamewell-Collettsvile High School, he enlisted in the Marine Corps. He later worked at Nepco, Inc., and Automated Solutions as a Production Tech. Jasper Dwayne was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Greene and is survived by his mother, Ella; his sisters, Laura Suguiyama, Marjorie Long, Olivia Pitts; a brother Rodney; nieces Emily Long, Erica Suguiyama Campbell, Ashley Vines, Bethany Capell; nephews Yuri Suguiyama, Tyler Long; extended family, Sheila Benge, step daughter, Sandy McRary (husband Tracy), a grandson, Dillon Benge (USMC)(wife Johanna), his granddaughters, Kristen Hartley and Grace Hartley, a stepson, Scott Benge (wife Teresa) and grandson, Bradley. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Lenoir Church of Christ, 1126 Powell Rd., Lenoir. Military Honors will be provided by the United States Marine Corps. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pet Partners Rescue of Caldwell County, P.O. Box 2746, Lenoir, NC. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.evansfuneralservices.com.
