Jane Marie Derengowski Friday March 29th 2019

JANE MARIE DERENGOWSKI, 75, of Caro, died peacefully Friday, March 29, 2019 in Satchell’s Christian Retirement Home, Caro. She was born March 8, 1944 in Port Huron to Steven Earl and Elene (Brock) Parrish. She married Stanley Joseph Derengowski, Jr. June 7, 1989 in Caro. He died November 7, 1997. Jane attended Gagetown schools but had to quit school early to help work on the farm. She enjoyed long walks and conversations with family and friends. Jane was skilled in embroidery and made many beautiful pillow cases and doilies. Her favorite foods included macaroni and cheese and pumpkin pie. Jane loved stuffed animals, especially teddy bears. She was known for giving great, warm hugs to those she loved. Jane is survived by her uncle, Roger Parrish of Cass City; cousins: Donna (Clare) Schuette of Cass City; Vernita (Don) Loeffler of Sebewaing; Joyce Smith of Bay City; Ron Gibbs of Caro. She was preceded in death by her parents and infant brother, Patrick Parrish. Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2019 in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Cass City with Rev. Steve Bagnall officiating. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund.
