Wallace, SC Mr. James Taylor, Jr. passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019 at his residence after a brief illness. He was 60 years old. Born on December 17, 1958 in Bennettsville, SC he was a son of the late James Taylor, Sr. and Mrs. Sallie Victoria Hall Taylor. He was a mechanic for Grooms Bros. Tire in McColl. He enjoyed fixing all kinds of stuff, painting, and spending time with his family. Mr. Taylor leaves behind to cherish his memory; daughters, Wendy Bishop (Drew) of Florence, MS., and Amy Taylor (James Smith) of Bennettsville, SC.; brother, Robert Boyle (Ann) of Wallace, SC.; sister, Rosa Hargrove of Wallace, SC and Denine Taylor( Harry), Trenton, NC,; 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father listed above; brother, Johnny Taylor; brother-in-law, Donnie Hargrove; niece, Candy Purifoy; nephew, James Ervin Taylor; ex-wife, Annie Taylor. The family will conduct a memorial service Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 10:00 am at Hickory Grove UMC in Clio.
