James Comer, 54, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, in Virginia. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Bright Light Baptist Church with the Reverend Ralph Voncannon officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Rest Cemetery. A native of Moore County, James loved fishing and hunting for arrowheads, hanging out with friends and lifting weights. He was a loving son, father and brother. James was preceded in death by father: Barnie Comer, Sr.; mother and stepfather: Doris and Pete Horner; brother Barnie Comer, Jr. He is survived by a son: Ricky Elliott, a daughter: Anna Comer, brothers: Donnie Horner, Ronnie Horner and wife Karen, Sammy Comer; sister Robin Baber and husband Danny; grandchildren: Adrienne, Lilly, Henry and Alister Elliott; nieces: Kayly Scott and Brianna Seawell; nephews: Jeremiah Comer, Michael Bell and Keith Allen. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Kennedy Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Donnie Horner, 221 Gardenia Road, Robbins, NC.
