Ramirez 96, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at McAllen Medical Center in McAllen, Texas. Ms. Ramirez is preceded in death by her husband, Leon Ramirez; grandsons, Abelino Guerra, Rene Guerra, Jr.; sons-in-law, Rene Guerra, Ovidio Zepeda and parents, Aurelio and Maria Librada Ramirez. Ms. Ramirez is survived by his daughters, Rebecca R. Guerra, Celina R. Zepeda, Maria Inez (Jose) Camarena; grandchildren, Maritza Guerra, Belinda (Carlos) Ramirez, Rafael (Maricela) Guerra, Veronica (Mark) Foster, Claudia Zepeda, Noel Zepeda, Celina (J.C.) Perez, Kiveli (Blake) McDonald, Dielka A. Camarena; nineteen great-grandchildren, four great-great-grand children and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends. Visitation hours will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2019, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a vigil at 7 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home. The funeral procession will depart on Monday, March 18, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at Saint Peter Catholic Church in Lopeño, Texas. Committal services will follow at Lopeño Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
