Helen Maynard April 16 1935 March 13 2019 (age 83)

Helen Marie Mehaffey Maynard, age 83 of Madisonville, formerly of Loudon, passed away at Madisonville Health and Rehab. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Irene Vineyard Mehaffey; brothers, Jack and Johnny Mehaffey; husband of 57 years, Donald Hugh Maynard; son, Joe Edward Maynard and great grandson, Mason Allen. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Mary (Wilford) Brewington, Patricia (Dwight) Allen, of Philadelphia, Ronnie (Gail) Maynard, of Loudon; daughter-in-law, Wanda Maynard of Loudon; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brother, J.W. Mehaffey (Linda), of Alabama; sister, Almedia Goodman, of Loudon; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 7 p.m. Friday at Loudon Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Kirkland officiating. Graveside service 11 a.m. Saturday at Simpson Cemetery with Rev. Sam Maynard officiating. The family will receive friends 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Friday, prior to the funeral service. Loudon Funeral Home and Cremations is honored to serve the Maynard family.
