Helen B. Grandinetti, 85, of Reinholds, formerly of Germantown, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2019, at ManorCare Health, Lancaster. She was born in Germantown to the late James and Theresa (Coppola) Griffin and was the wife of the late Frank J. “Champ” Grandinetti who passed away in 2003. She was a member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Ephrata. She loved watching TV, reading, doing crossword puzzles, word searches, and playing pinochle. She was last employed by Burpee Seed Co. in Warminster. Helen is survived by 2 daughters, Joanne B. Grandinetti at home, and Mary Ellen Spalding of Philadelphia; 3 grandchildren, Kyle J. Grandinetti, Mary Beth Labbe, and Jeffrey Spalding, Jr.; 5 great-grandchildren, Cortney Lynn and Jason Carsello, Jeffrey, Benjamin, and Gianna Spalding; a brother Frank Griffin of North Whales. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Mary Brooks, Elizabeth Sands, and Joan Durkin; 2 brothers, George Brooks and James Griffin, Jr. A viewing will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2019, from 9 to 11 am, at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut St., Denver. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am, with Father John McLoughlin, C.SS.R officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
