On March 21, 2019, Georgie Poncin, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away at age 84. Georgie was born on February 20, 1935 in Sterling, Kansas to Albert and Clarabelle (Aten) Mathes. On March 2, 1954, she married Kenneth Poncin in Littleton, Colorado. They raised one daughter, Sherry and two sons, Don and Larry. Georgie had a passion for gardening, reading, music and love of Christ. Georgie truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family over coffee, snacking, completing puzzles, and spending time with all her grandchildren. Georgie had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. Georgie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth, son Larry, granddaughter Aubry Poncin, brother James Mathes, and son-in-law Don Nolte. Left to cherish her memory are her children Sherry Nolte and Don Poncin, her 3 sisters, 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Send Sympathy Card Print Obituary
