Gary’s Obituary Gary Lee Thomas, 83, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at his residence. Born November 18, 1935 in Springfield, MO., a son of the late Beryl and Martha Prescott Thomas. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Maureen Lee Thomas; son, Gary Eugene Thomas and grandchildren, Kenneth Hodges and Stephanie Callahan. A loving father, grandfather, brother and friend, Gary enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed watching old Army movies with a cup of black coffee. Mr. Thomas is survived by his children, Kevin Thomas (Angela) of MO, Jean Dumont (Chuck) of TN, Eileen Johnson (Chris) of Loris, Carol Reich (Eddie) of Conway, Terri Majors of CA; brother, Daryl Thomas (Virginia) of CA; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and many other family and friends who will miss him. A Memorial Service will be held 11am Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
