Gary’s Obituary Gary Bezan, 68, of Maryville, IL, formerly of Granite City, IL, passed away at 10:41 p.m., Sunday, March 24, 2019 at his home. He was born on May 8, 1950 in Granite City, IL to Steve Joseph and Vivian (nee: Robeff) Bezan. Gary and Martha (nee: Miles) married in Granite City, IL on July 3, 1970. He is of the Catholic Faith. Gary retired from Laclede Steel in St. Louis, MO after over 30 years of service as an accountant and then worked for Contico in Hazelwood, MO as an accountant. He loved to dance, fish and bowl. He is survived by his wife: Martha (nee: Miles) Bezan of Maryville, IL; daughter: Kimberly (John) Holman of Granite City, IL; two grandchildren: Alexandria Bezan and Kaleigh Holman both of Granite City, IL; sister: Vickie (Michael) Long of Great Bend, KS; two nephews: Mark Long and Stephen (Shanna) Long and a great-nephew: Marshall Long. He was preceded in death by both parents. A memorial visitation and memorial service are pending at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory in Granite City, IL.
