Medical Center in Knoxville. Mr. Doutt was a Veteran of the United States Army. He had a passion for working with wood. He was an avid reader and baseball fan. He loved to cruise, Fred whistled when he was happy and was always ready with a good laugh. He was preceded in death by his parents Fredrick V. Doutt Sr. and Sylvia Jenkins Doutt. Survivors include his wife Sue M. Doutt of Parrottsville; children R. Renee Doutt of Parrottsville and Tommy H. (Tracy) Doutt of Thomasville, North Carolina; grandson B. Thomas Doutt of Newport; sister Margaret (Doug) Foote of Richmond, Kentucky. The family will host a Celebration of Life at a later date.
