Francisco “El Venado” Briones Jaramillo, 59, passed away Friday, March 8, 2019 in Burleson, Texas. Services for Mr. Jaramillo will be 10:00a.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Lubbock with Father Joseph Thanadelil officiating. Burial will follow in City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home. A rosary will be held 7:00p.m., Monday and Tuesday, March 11, and 12th 2019 at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel in Lubbock with a viewing on both days from 10:00a.m. to 9:00p.m. Francisco was born April 2, 1960 in San Isidro, San Luis Potosi to Marcieal and Maria Nieves Jaramillo. He was a roofer and in the construction industry for many years. He enjoyed life in many aspects; especially loved horses and bull riding. He was also a lover of baseball, dancing, and loved to joke and just have fun. He is survived by his common law wife Delia; two sons; Francisco Jr (Patricia) and Gregorio (Viridiana) Jaramillo; three daughters, Patricia (Edgar) Contreras of Cleburne, Texas, Rosa Nely (Luis) Sanchez of Lubbock, Daniela (Jose Perez) Sanchez of Lubbock; three brothers Roman, Poline and Senon Jaramillo from Mexico; four sisters, Barbara Salas and Antonia Martinez both of Lubbock, Bernadina Perez and Maria Adela Sifuentes of Mexico; twelve grandchildren He is preceded in death by his parents; a son Francisco Jr. (Nov. 1980); a brother Panfilo Jaramillo (2018).
