Floyd’s Obituary Floyd M. Thompson Born in the Iowa family farm home, September 11, 1918; died in his Corcoran, Minnesota home, March 29, 2019. Known as Floyd, Merle, Tommy, Tom Thompson and Mister Tom. He was a Navy veteran, cancer survivor, faithful servant/steward, self-educated, inventor, mentor, business owner. An adventurous man, grateful member of the Twelve-step program, his wife’s spiritual oak, son, brother, uncle, father, grandfather and friend. Survived by his wife, Glenda. Memorial Service 11 am Saturday, April 6 with visitation 1 hour prior at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 10025 County Road 101, Corcoran. Private burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
