Fay Perkey November 16, 1933 – March 11, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts View/Sign Guest Book| Send Sympathy Card Ramona Fay Perkey, 85, of Blanchard, went to Heaven on Monday, March 11, 2019, in Norman. The daughter of William Thomas Thompson and Maud P. (Siniard) Thompson, she was born November 16, 1933 in Elk City, Oklahoma. Fay was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Cole. She was a member of the Sooner Old Timer’s Radio Club and served as their secretary. Fay was also a Girl Scout Leader for many years. She was the dispatcher for the Dibble Volunteer Fire Department for 28 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed making crafts and jewelry, playing board games, and working jigsaw puzzles. Fay was a great cook and loved using her talents to feed people, whether it was family gatherings or helping someone in need. Fay’s greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Perkey; four brothers, Olen Thompson, Alva Thompson, Cecil Thompson, and Iver Thompson. She is survived by two daughters, Tenna Garrett and Tammi Harris; one son, Garland Larry Perkey and his wife, Pearline; four grandchildren, Larry Lloyd Perkey and his wife, Amanda, Justin Perkey and his wife, Carole, and Jeanaye Perkey, all of Blanchard, and Madison Harris and her fiancé, Christian Hicks, of Purcell; eight great grandchildren, and countless others who called her Grandma; one sister, Wanette Jackson of Oregon; two sisters-in-law, Ella Mae and Claudia; and many other loved ones and friends. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, March 14, 2019, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Dibble Cemetery.
