Ella Mae Berlin May 30, 1926 – February 27, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Ella Mae Berlin, age 92, of Mayville passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019 in her home with her family at her side. Ella Mae was born May 30, 1926 in Mayville to the late Ray and Muriel (Kreger) Weiler. She married Leonard Berlin on July 15, 1950 in Mayville. He preceded her in death on September 29, 2012. Ella Mae was a member of the Michigan Harness Horsemen. She worked at the Mayville Glove Factory, tended bar, worked at the Hydro-Mat and at Day Fox Industries. Ella enjoyed sewing, embroidery, gardening, bird watching and horses. She is survived by one son, Rod Berlin; three grandchildren, Bandy (Melissa) Berlin, Reamy (Jason) Berlin and Kayla (Matt) Reed; four great-grandchildren, Zachary, Brayden, Savannah and McKaila; one sister, Rita (Lloyd) Hughes; and several nieces and nephews. Ella Mae was preceded in death by her son, Randy Berlin; her sister, Bernadine (Wallace Sr.) Blackmer; and her brother, Gerold Weiler. The Family will receive visitors from 2-8 PM Sunday, March 3, 2019 and from 10 AM until the time of service Monday, March 4, 2019 at Avram Funeral Home, Mayville. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Monday, March 4, 2019 at Avram Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fremont Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Family Discretionary Fund.
