Edith Little, an 88 year old Trenton, MO resident, passed away at 4:58 a.m., Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Wright Memorial Hospital of Trenton. Memorial services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at the Tenth St. Baptist Church of Trenton. Inurnment will follow in Pilot Grove #1 Cemetery near Gilman City. Memorial donations are suggested to the Church Women’s United Thrift Shop and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home. Edith Eulilia Little was born June 17, 1930 in Harrison County to John and Chlora (Gleason) Hudson. She graduated from Gilman City High School. On December 25, 1954 she was united in marriage to John Little. Edith lived all of her life in Grundy and Harrison Counties. She enjoyed volunteering at the Church Women’s United Thrift Store and helping with activities at Sunnyview Nursing Home. She was a member of the Tenth Street Baptist Church. Surviving relatives include her children Nancy Vu and significant other, James Naugles of Sedalia, MO, Naomi Leach and husband Larry of Kansas City, MO, Martin Little and wife Kim of Trenton, Beth Weston and husband Jeff of Raytown, MO and David Little and wife Carla of Trenton, MO, brothers Bob Hudson of Springfield, MO and Bernard Hudson, a sister Linda Ishmael of Bethany, MO, 18 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren. Those preceding her in death include her parents, husband, a sister Nola Jean Shirley, brothers Russell, Ray, Randall, and Frank Hudson, and a grandson Jason.
