Dennis S. Larabee, age 70, passed away in Grand Rapids on Friday, March 29, 2019. He was born August 5, 1948 in Mount Clemens, MI to Rex and Annabelle (Neil) Larabee. Denny was a 1966 graduate of Reeths-Puffer High School and also served his country during Vietnam in the U.S. Army. He worked many years for both Shaw Walker and Consumers Energy prior to his retirement. SURVIVORS include 2 children: Tracy Larabee, Joe (Torie) Larabee; step-son, Harry (Tamora) Knapp; 2 grandchildren: Tyler and Jordan Larabee; 2 step-grandchildren: Dakota and Zachary Knapp; brother, Harry (Vonda) Larabee; 2 sisters: Judy (Eloy Martinez) Larabee, Kathy (Larry) Doctor; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 wives: the former Diane DeWall in 2012 and the former Galyna Kyi in 2017; brother, Randy Larabee; and a step-grandson, Preston Knapp. SERVICES for Dennis will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, April 4, 2019 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave., (231) 726-5210. VISITATION with the family will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Wednesday, April 3, 2019. Burial will take place in Egelston Twp. Cemetery.
