Dale Oren Gallian, 69, of Worthington passed away Wednesday March 20, 2019 at the IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington. Born March 30, 1949 in Linton, Indiana the son of Willis and Marcia L. (Collings) Gallian. Dale retired from Crane Army Ammunition Activity as a supervisor. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a life member of the Worthington VFW Post #7117, and long-time member of the Bloomfield American Legion Post #196. Dale loved to golf, fish, hunt and spend time with his grandchildren. Surviving relatives include his wife Sherry Gallian, one son, Jeremy Dale (Rita) Gallian, one daughter, Julie (Shad) Arvin, his grandchildren, Tyler, Austin and Ethan Schantz, Paxton Arvin, Anna Gallian, Declen Arvin and Avery Gallian, his mother, Marcia L. Gallian, one sister, Ruth (Don Smith) Neill, a niece, Anita (Mike) Thompson, great-nephew James Mosier, and several loving cousins and family. Dale was preceded in death by his father and one nephew, Allen Neill. Per Dale’s request there will be no public visitation. A Graveside service with Military Honors will be held at a later date. The family, per Dale’s request, wishes any donations be made to a Veterans Organization of one’s choice.
